About the Client

Our client is a well-established Direct Selling Agent (DSA) with long-standing relationships across leading banks and housing finance companies. The organization has a robust presence in secured lending and is expanding its Loan Against Property (LAP) vertical across South India.

Role Overview The Head LAP will be responsible for building and scaling the LAP business across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This is a leadership role with ownership of regional strategy, sourcing channels, bank relationships, team building, and disbursement growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and drive LAP business volumes across AP & Telangana
- Build, manage, and mentor regional sales and processing teams
- Develop sourcing through DSA partners, real-estate brokers, CAs, SMEs, and self-sourced channels
- Manage relationships with banks and HFCs for LAP products, pricing,



and policy alignment
- Oversee credit coordination, property valuation, legal checks, and disbursement closure
- Track pipeline, sanctions, conversions, and regional profitability
- Ensure adherence to credit, compliance, and documentation norms
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to refine regional strategy

Key Requirements

- 12+ years of experience in LAP / mortgage-backed business loans
- Strong knowledge of secured credit underwriting, property laws, and valuation practices in AP & Telangana
- Proven ability to build regional teams and deliver large-ticket disbursements
- Excellent network with banks, HFCs, brokers, and professional referral sources (CAs, SMEs)
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on leadership style
