About Nava Nava is building next-generation AI infrastructure and inference platforms designed to power the future of AI. As our infrastructure scales globally, security becomes foundational to everything we build. We are looking for a Head of AI Infrastructure Security to define and lead the security strategy across our AI platform, GPU infrastructure, cloud environments, and customer-facing services.

This role will own the end-to-end security posture of our AI infrastructure, ensuring our platform remains secure, resilient, and compliant while enabling rapid innovation.

What You'll Do Security Strategy & Architecture Define and own the security architecture for Nava's AI infrastructure, GPU clusters, cloud platforms, and control plane.

Establish security standards, policies, and governance frameworks across infrastructure, applications, and engineering teams.

Design security controls that enable secure multi-tenant AI infrastructure while maintaining performance and scalability.

Partner with Engineering and Product teams to embed security into platform architecture and software development lifecycles. Infrastructure & Platform Security Secure GPU clusters, compute infrastructure, networking, storage, Kubernetes environments, and management systems.

Lead hardening initiatives across firmware, operating systems, virtualization layers, container platforms, APIs, and infrastructure services.

Protect tenant isolation and ensure solid identity, access management, and privilege controls across the platform.

Drive secure infrastructure provisioning through Infrastructure-as-Code and policy automation.

Threat

Detection & Incident Response Build and lead security monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.

Develop processes for vulnerability management,



threat intelligence, penetration testing, and continuous security assessments.

Lead incident response for security events, conduct forensic investigations, and drive root cause analysis.

Continuously improve security operations through automation, threat hunting, and proactive risk mitigation. Governance, Risk & Compliance Own infrastructure security compliance across applicable global standards and customer requirements.

Partner with internal teams to support security audits, certifications, and customer due diligence.

Establish security policies, risk management frameworks, and operational controls aligned with industry best practices.

Drive security awareness and secure engineering practices across the organization. Cross-Functional Leadership Collaborate with Platform Engineering, GPU Cluster Engineering, Networking, SRE, Legal, Compliance, and Customer Success teams.

Act as the executive security advisor for infrastructure, customer deployments, and strategic initiatives.

Balance security requirements with operational efficiency and business objectives.

Team Leadership

Build and lead a high-performing Infrastructure Security organization.

Mentor security engineers and technical leaders.

Foster a security-first engineering culture through education, automation, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For 12+ years of experience in Infrastructure Security,



Cloud Security, Cybersecurity, or Platform Security.

Proven experience leading security programs for large-scale cloud, infrastructure, or distributed systems.

Deep expertise in the following areas:

Cloud and infrastructure security

Kubernetes and container security

Linux systems security

Network security and segmentation

Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Zero Trust architecture

Security Operations (SOC), SIEM, and threat detection

Infrastructure hardening and vulnerability management

Experience designing secure multi-tenant platforms and protecting customer workloads.

Strong understanding of secure software development and DevSecOps practices.

Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Nice to Have Experience securing AI infrastructure, GPU clusters, HPC environments, or cloud-native platforms.

Familiarity with NVIDIA GPU ecosystems, Kubernetes, RDMA/InfiniBand networking, confidential computing, and hardware security.

Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or similar security and compliance frameworks.

Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or GIAC are an advantage.
