Job Purpose The GM – C&I; leads the complete Control & Instrumentation scope of a coal-based thermal power plant project. This includes engineering validation, procurement interfaces, erection supervision, DCS/PLC configuration, loop checking, commissioning, and system handover for both BTG and BOP. The role demands deep technical expertise, stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver the plant to commercial operation within time, cost, and quality parameters.

Training & Handover KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Additional Details EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS INTERNAL INTERACTIONS FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS Other Dimensions EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation / Electronics / Control & Automation Engineering M.Tech or MBA (Project Management) preferred but not mandatory. Additional certifications in DCS/PLC or functional safety desirable. Solid expertise in DCS/PLC systems, instrumentation engineering, protection logic, control loops.
Hands-on experience with BTG/BOP commissioning. Deep knowledge of ISA/IEC standards, SIL, cybersecurity, and functional safety.
Relevant Experience
