Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud Developer to design, configure, and implement PolicyCenter solutions on the Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP). The ideal candidate will work across configuration, integrations, and custom development (Gosu, plugins, APIs), ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that align with product and underwriting needs in a cloud-native workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Configuration & Development: Configure PolicyCenter entities including Advanced Product Designer, Data Model, Product Model, Rating, PCF UI, Workflows, Rules, and Localization. Develop custom components using Gosu, plugins, messaging, batch processes, and event-driven patterns.

Implement Guidewire

Cloud-specific patterns such as cloud services, feature toggles, tenancy, and environment management.

Integrations: Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs for internal and external systems (e.g., BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, payment gateways, document services, rating engines). Leverage the Guidewire Integration Framework, Messaging, and WS-I compliant services.

Cloud Delivery & DevOps: Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub Actions) for automated builds, unit tests (Gunit), and deployments. Manage cloud environments, tenant configurations, and release processes on GWCP following change governance. Optimize performance and reliability; analyze logs/telemetry and resolve production issues.





Quality & Security: Write unit/integration tests; support automation (Cucumber/Selenium for UI, REST Assured/Postman for APIs). Ensure security, compliance, and observability (secrets management, least privilege, audit readiness). Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and Agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, demos).

Mandatory Skills

3-5 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter (Cloud preferred).

Strong proficiency in Gosu, PCF, Rules, Data Model, Product Model, Rating, Workflows, Batch, and Messaging.

Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform, including environment strategy, cloud services, deployment, and release processes.

Solid understanding of the Policy lifecycle (quote, bind, issue, endorsement, cancellation, renewal).

API development & testing experience with REST/SOAP, JSON/XML, Postman, and REST Assured; familiarity with API security (OAuth 2.0/JWT).

DevOps/CI/CD experience with Git, branching strategies, Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub Actions, and artifact management.

Proficiency in Java, SQL, and XSD/WSDL.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud-native application development.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.

Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
