Guidewire Developer (BC, CC, PC)

Job Title: Guidewire Developer – BillingCenter (BC) / ClaimCenter (CC) / PolicyCenter (PC)

Responsibilities:

1. Application Development:

- Design, develop, and implement Guidewire applications (BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter) to meet business requirements.
- Develop and customize Guidewire configurations, workflows, rules, and integrations.
- Ensure that applications are scalable, maintainable, and meet high-performance standards.

1. Guidewire Configuration:

- Configure business rules, workflows, screens, and integrations using Guidewire Studio and Designer tools.
- Work on configurations related to claim management (ClaimCenter), policy management (PolicyCenter), and billing processes (BillingCenter).

1. Customization & Integration:

- Customize user interfaces, back-end processes, and business logic to fit customer requirements.
- Integrate Guidewire applications with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, billing systems, external data services).

1. Troubleshooting & Support:

- Troubleshoot issues and resolve defects in the development and production environments.
- Provide technical support for Guidewire applications in both the development and production environments.

1. Collaboration:

- Work closely with business analysts,



project managers, and stakeholders to define and refine application requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, system architecture discussions, and development lifecycle management.

1. Testing & Deployment:

- Design and execute unit, integration, and system tests.
- Collaborate with QA teams for defect resolution and test validation.
- Assist with deployment and post-deployment activities, ensuring smooth releases and operational stability.

1. Documentation:

- Maintain technical documentation of code, configurations, and integrations.
- Provide end-user documentation and training for system users as necessary.

Skills Required:

1. Technical Skills:

- Solid experience with Guidewire platform: BillingCenter (BC), ClaimCenter (CC), and/or PolicyCenter (PC).
- Proficiency in Guidewire programming languages: Gosu, Java, XML.
- Expertise in Guidewire Studio and Guidewire Designer.
- Solid understanding of SOA principles and integration using Web Services (SOAP/REST).
- Experience with data modeling, database design (Oracle, SQL Server).
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS for front-end development.
