Summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a motivated Graduate Trainee Engineer – Manufacturing Engineering to support the X-ray Subsystems manufacturing team. In this entry-level role, you will work alongside Manufacturing/Product Engineers and lead engineers to analyze production data, monitor line performance, support failure investigations, and assist with troubleshooting manufacturing issues. The role provides hands-on learning, training, and coaching and is well suited to a Mechanical Engineering graduate with solid communication skills, analytical thinking, and learning agility. Roles and Responsibilities

- Support Manufacturing/Product Engineers and lead engineers in day-to-day manufacturing engineering activities for the X-ray Subsystems product line.
- Collect, track, and analyze manufacturing and production line performance data.
- Monitor key production metrics and support actions to keep line performance indicators on target.
- Assist with FAR (Failure Analysis Report) clearance and investigations related to manufacturing failures.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of issues identified on the production line.
- Work with experienced engineers to understand manufacturing issues, identify contributing factors, and support appropriate corrective actions.
- Contribute to activities that maintain and improve operational efficiency within the X-ray Subsystems manufacturing area.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and other relevant team members.




- Build practical manufacturing engineering knowledge through structured training, coaching, and hands-on assignments.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in manufacturing and engineering operations.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Learning agility and willingness to develop new technical and manufacturing knowledge.

- Ability to work with data and identify trends or performance issues.
- Proactive approach to learning and asking questions.
