- Responsible & accountable for enabling sourcing decisions & choices through data analytics and thorough understanding of the causal factors and market intelligence.

- Responsible for supporting sourcing/category strategy through market analysis, vendor scouting and an in depth understanding of market dynamics for various commodities.

- Responsible for working with the category buying team on clean-sheet costing, total cost of ownership with the objective of optimizing cost while assessing alternate options.

- Responsible to coordinate sourcing choices working closely with the Technical Team on new source or part development.

- Reviewing Vendors’ offers consistent with Long term Contracts and general trend in the market for spot purchases.

- Lead the process of Internal & External Benchmarking relative to Cost Per ton. Working with Head of Procurement & Raw Material Planning, external service providers and the YOHT Finance team.

- Support the category team on Vendor Performance Monitoring and driving counter measures by working closely with the vendors.

Educational Background

Mandatory

- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, business administration, or accounting.

- An MBA degree in supply chain management will be advantageous.

Work Experience

- Around 5-6 years of experience in Procurement/ Supply Chain, in the areas of Market analytics, benchmarking, clean –sheet costing, supplier collaboration.

- Having 1 or 2 year experience as an analyst would be an advantage

- Experience in handling both local & international vendors
