About the Role:

We are hiring fresh, highly driven engineers to join our Glass Excellence Team—a core technical function at HLE Glascoat Ltd. This independent team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of glass-lined products through technical leadership, innovation, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as a technical expert for glass-lined equipment; guide decisions on quality and performance.
- Build and share deep knowledge of materials, defects, and process science across teams.
- Undergo expert-level training and subsequently train production and support staff.
- Drive Innovation in glass and enamel processes to enhance performance and reduce defects.
- Identify shortcomings in the glass-lining process and implement data-driven improvements.
- Develop, document, and implement SOPs across all glass-related processes.




- Independently assess and make decisions on doubtful quality cases.
- Monitor production processes to ensure strict SOP compliance (without being part of the core production team).
- Perform detailed defect analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Correlate material properties, process parameters, and final quality outcomes.
- Maintain structured documentation and technical reports.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

- Solid fundamentals in Materials Science and Ceramics
- Understanding of Structure–Property correlations
- Knowledge of Ceramic Processing and bonding techniques
- Understanding of Solidification and Nucleation mechanisms
- Familiarity with Rheology and flow behavior of materials
- Basics of Materials Thermodynamics
- Basics of Materials Characterizations
- Applied knowledge of Heat Transfer
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and execution skills
- Strong innovation mindset and ownership attitude
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable technical insights
- Ability to quickly adapt to new skills and technologies
- Dynamic and proactive approach to tasks
