About this Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical finance professional to support real estate accounting and lease accounting operations in compliance with IFRS 16 requirements. Based in Pune, this hybrid role is responsible for end-to-end lease contract management, contract creation and modifications, financial reporting, month-end accounting activities, balance sheet reconciliations and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with international stakeholders and must possess strong German and English language skills to support business requirements in a global environment.

What you will do

- Manage real estate accounting activities in compliance with IFRS 16 principles and internal policies.
- Ensure all operational and administrative processes are followed accurately and consistently.
- Manage end-to-end lease contract administration, including contract creation, modification and maintenance.




- Ensure lease accounting contracts are created and modified accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Perform monthly valuation postings for all eligible leases with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Support month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting requirements.
- Deliver internal and external financial reporting and compliance-related activities.
- Analyze accounting data, identify issues and support troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives.
- Communicate accounting requirements and procedural updates clearly to stakeholders and assess their business impact.
- Support additional finance and accounting responsibilities as required by the line manager.

Who you are

- Strong knowledge of IFRS 16 and lease accounting principles.
- Experience in financial analysis, accounting operations and reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Hands-on SAP experience is essential, with SAP RE-FX knowledge considered advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- German language proficiency at B2.1 level or above is mandatory.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
