AI Filmmaker Intern – Generative AI & Video Production

Internship Duration : 6 Months

At Parth Sompura Films LLP (PSF), we believe the next generation of filmmakers will not be defined by a single camera, software or technique. They will know how to combine cinema, technology, storytelling and Generative AI to create work that was previously impossible.

We’re looking for an AI Filmmaker Intern to join our creative team in Mumbai.

This is not a conventional video-editing internship.

You will work alongside our creative and production teams on TVCs, documentaries, brand films, digital content and experimental AI-led productions - contributing to real projects from concept to final delivery.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will report directly to the Creative Director and work closely with directors, editors, designers and the production team across projects.

Your responsibilities will include

- Creating cinematic AI-generated video sequences and visual concepts
- Developing prompts, references, storyboards and visual treatments
- Taking AI-generated material through editing, compositing and final finishing
- Working with Generative AI for video, images, voice, music and sound
- Editing projects using Adobe Premiere Pro
- Creating motion graphics, compositing and visual treatments in Adobe After Effects
- Using AI to develop concepts, scripts, treatments and creative directions
- Maintaining character, environment and visual consistency across AI-generated sequences
- Researching and testing new AI models, tools and filmmaking workflows
- Collaborating with the wider creative team to solve visual and storytelling challenges
- Managing multiple creative tasks while delivering within tight production timelines





TOOLS & SKILLS

We’re looking for someone with hands-on knowledge of tools such as:

Higgsfield AI • Adobe Premiere Pro • Adobe After Effects • ElevenLabs • Suno • ChatGPT • Claude • AI Video Agents • Generative Video & Image Models

Knowledge of additional tools across AI video generation, image generation, upscaling, lip-sync, voice cloning, sound design and AI-assisted post-production will be an advantage.

But knowing the tools alone isn’t enough.

We are looking for someone with a strong visual sense, understanding of filmmaking, attention to detail and curiosity to experiment. You should be able to look at an AI-generated shot and understand not only whether it looks impressive, but whether it actually belongs in the film.

You won’t be sitting on the sidelines observing projects.

You will be expected to participate, experiment, suggest ideas, challenge creative possibilities and take ownership of your work.

At the same time, we want PSF to be a place where young filmmakers can learn by doing — working on real briefs,



understanding how qualified productions are developed and seeing their ideas move from a screen to work that reaches real audiences.

You will have the opportunity to work across very different worlds — from a 30-second commercial to a documentary, a government communication campaign to a defence film, and conventional live-action filmmaking to completely AI-generated productions.
