About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented General Manager – Roads & Buildings Projects to lead the overall execution and management of large-scale infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Road Construction, Highways, Bridges, Government Buildings, Civil Infrastructure, EPC Projects, PWD/NHAI/State Government projects, and should possess strong expertise in project planning, execution, contracts, commercial management, billing, procurement, quality, safety, and client coordination.

The candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects and leading project teams from project planning and mobilization through construction, completion, commissioning, and final handover.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide overall leadership for Road, Highway, Bridge, Building, and Civil Infrastructure Projects.
- Take complete responsibility for project execution, quality, cost, safety, profitability, and timely completion.
- Manage multiple projects, project sites, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and large project teams.
- Develop project execution strategies, construction schedules, manpower plans, resource plans, and project budgets.
- Monitor project progress against approved BOQ, milestones, DPR, PERT/CPM schedules, and contractual timelines.
- Coordinate with PWD, NHAI, State Government Departments, Municipal Authorities, Government Agencies, consultants, and other stakeholders, as applicable.
- Lead regular project review meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal management.
- Ensure proper coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, planning, billing, commercial, finance, QA/QC, and safety teams.
- Monitor execution of road, highway, bridge, building, and other civil infrastructure works.




- Ensure timely availability of construction materials, manpower, machinery, equipment, subcontractors, and other resources.
- Monitor earthwork, excavation, embankment, subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, drainage, culverts, structures, bridges, and related civil works.
- Oversee construction of government buildings, commercial buildings, institutional buildings, offices, residential buildings, hospitals, schools, and other infrastructure, wherever applicable.
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, method statements, quality plans, and client requirements.
- Review and monitor RA Bills, Measurement Books, BOQ reconciliation, quantity variations, extra items, deviations, and final billing.
- Coordinate with Contracts and Commercial teams for claims, variations, EOT, LD matters, contractual correspondence, and dispute resolution.
- Monitor project budgets, cost control, cash flow, profitability, and resource utilization.
- Ensure effective procurement planning and coordination with suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity, quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
- Review project MIS, DPRs, monthly progress reports, cost reports, and management dashboards.
- Identify project risks, delays, bottlenecks, and critical activities and implement corrective and recovery measures.
- Conduct regular site visits and project performance reviews.
- Resolve technical, commercial, contractual, manpower, material, and client-related issues.




- Maintain solid relationships with senior government officials, clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor Project Managers, Construction Managers, Planning Engineers, Billing Engineers, Site Engineers, QA/QC teams, Safety teams, and Commercial personnel.
- Ensure proper documentation, testing, completion certificates, commissioning where applicable, and final project handover.
- Drive operational efficiency, productivity improvement, cost optimization, and timely project completion.
