We are looking for a General Manager – DPA/CSO to manage the offshore company’s operations from our Mumbai office.

Position: GM – DPA/CSO

Location: Mumbai ownership Company

Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant shore-based experience

Employment: 3-year firm contract

Eligibility

- ⁠ ⁠Indian COC – Master / Chief Engineer (FG) / NCV / Naval Architect
- ⁠ ⁠Relevant experience in offshore vessel management and DPA/CSO responsibilities preferred
- ⁠ ⁠The DPA/CSO will be responsible for certification, documentation, safety and operational oversight of our company’s 3 Indian-flag offshore vessels currently in operation.

Scope of Work 1.⁠ ⁠Handle the company’s DOC and vessel operations.

2.⁠ ⁠Liaise with Flag State and Class authorities and coordinate statutory surveys.

3.⁠ ⁠Conduct ISM internal audits and ensure effective implementation.

4.⁠ ⁠Supervise repairs and maintenance, including dry-docking,



major shipyard repairs and special surveys.

5.⁠ ⁠Screen and evaluate technical personnel.

6.⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance and maintenance of ISO, ISM, ISPS, MLC, DOC, PMS and QHSE requirements.

7.⁠ ⁠Prepare budgets for technical operations.

8.⁠ ⁠Conduct regular vessel inspections and ensure conformity with applicable requirements.

9.⁠ ⁠Minimize vessel downtime arising from breakdowns and operational issues.

10.⁠ ⁠Arrange and monitor the latest training requirements for officers and ratings in compliance with IMO standards.

11.⁠ ⁠Assist in the preparation of monthly reports as required by the client.

Pay: Up to ₹175,000.00 per month
