About Position:

We are hiring a GCP Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Big Query, and Matillion to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale cloud data solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, implementing modern data transformation frameworks, and delivering high-quality data platforms that support business and healthcare analytics requirements.

What You'll Do:

- Design, develop, and optimize cloud-native data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Build and manage enterprise-scale data warehouses and data marts using BigQuery
- Develop transformation layers using dbt, including staging, intermediate, and marts models
- Implement Dbt testing frameworks, documentation, macros, and CI/CD pipelines
- Design and develop robust ingestion and orchestration workflows using Matillion ETL
- Implement parameterization, error handling, monitoring, and audit logging in Matillion jobs
- Integrate dbt and Matillion workflows with Cloud Composer (Airflow)
- Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data
- Develop automation frameworks and validation processes using Python and SQL
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions
- Implement Git-based workflows, code review processes, and branching strategies
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Ensure platform security, governance, performance optimization, and cost efficiency
- Establish data quality,



data lineage, and monitoring standards across platforms
- Support clinical and healthcare data integration initiatives involving multiple source systems

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 6+ years of experience in cloud-based data engineering environments, preferably GCP
- Strong hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery
- Extensive experience with dbt Core and dbt Cloud, including models, tests, macros, documentation, and CI/CD
- Hands-on experience with Matillion ETL for data ingestion and orchestration
- Advanced SQL skills for data transformation, optimization, and analytics
- Strong Python programming experience for automation, validation, and data processing
- Experience integrating dbt, Matillion, and Cloud Composer (Airflow)
- Deep understanding of ELT/ETL architecture and data warehouse design principles
- Experience with Git-based development workflows and version control best practices
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Knowledge of data governance, security, performance tuning, and cost optimization
- Experience designing scalable, reliable, and secure data platforms
- Strong understanding of healthcare and clinical data domains
- Knowledge of CDISC SDTM, ADaM, OMOP, and HL7/FHIR standards
- Experience working with EHR/EMR,



EDC/CTMS, claims, laboratory, and clinical datasets
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in cross-functional teams
