We are seeking a highly motivated Functional Test Engineer with solid Healthcare domain expertise, SQL skills, and database testing experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating healthcare applications through functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing while ensuring data accuracy through backend database validations. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent defect management capabilities, and experience working in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

- Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, User Acceptance, and End-to-End testing.

- Validate healthcare business processes including Enrollment, Claims, Billing, Member Management, Provider Management, and Eligibility workflows.

- Execute test cases, document test results, and report testing status to stakeholders.

- Perform backend database validation using SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

- Validate interfaces, file processing, and data flow between integrated systems.

- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.

- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners,



and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Refinement, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

- Support test data preparation and validation activities.

- Develop test summary reports and provide release recommendations.

- Perform root cause analysis for identified issues and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with Healthcare regulations and business processes where applicable.

- 6 to 9 years of relevant experience is required.

Additional Required Skills GenAI:

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Generative AI concepts, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI-assisted software testing.

- Experience using enterprise GenAI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitLab Duo, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI platforms for testing activities.

- Understanding of Prompt Engineering and AI-assisted test design techniques.

- Ability to validate AI-generated outputs and identify hallucinations, inconsistencies, and business rule violations.

- Knowledge of Responsible AI principles, including bias, privacy, security, explainability, and governance considerations.

- Exposure to AI-enabled quality engineering practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
