GITAA, an IIT Madras incubated company, is founded by experienced academics from the Indian Institute of

Technology, Madras. Our founders bring in a wealth of expertise and knowledge in data science and engineering disciplines. GITAA is a leading provider of edtech solutions, training and technology consulting services. We build custom AI & ML solutions that turn data into business outcomes. Recent work spans retail analytics (SERVQUAL-based customer segmentation on service-request data to drive upsell, cross-

sell, and loyalty), engineering analytics in manufacturing (self-supervised anomaly detection under sparse labels to cut scrap and downtime), data audit & governance (DGQI evaluations with IIT Madras to close policypractice gaps), sports analytics (real-time cricket innings forecasts and dynamic win probabilities),

and aviation-including regional carriers like FLY91-(network and revenue optimization across route profitability, demand forecasting, agile pricing, on-time performance, and customer segmentation).

These are a few of our focus areas; we're continually expanding into new domains.

We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer & DevOps Engineer who can work across the stack writing and debugging Python/Java and React code - while owning the infrastructure, CI/CD, and cloud deployment that puts that code into production. You will manage deployments across GITAA's product portfolio, including our website, training LMS, internal applications, and client engagements, and contribute to future consultancy projects for enterprise and government clients. Candidates with strong programming fundamentals alongside DevOps/cloud expertise will be given preference.

Responsibilities

- Deploy, monitor, and maintain GITAA's web applications and internal platforms - including customer-





facing products and internal tools built with Python/Java and React.
- Manage development and enterprise-client deployments across cloud environments such as E2E

Networks, AWS, and Azure, coordinating with client infrastructure and constraints as needed.
- Contribute directly to application code - debugging issues, reviewing pull requests, and building

deployment-ready features in Python and React.
- Design and deploy scalable, cost-efficient architecture for future consultancy projects, including

government engagements in Tanzania, Uganda, and similar markets.
- Set up and manage cloud GPU instances and managed LLM platforms (AWS Bedrock, Azure AI

Foundry, or similar) for inferencing and RAG pipelines.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code templates, and deployment runbooks

across all products.
- Train and mentor GITAA's data science engineers and data scientists on deployment practices,

containerization, and production MLOps.

Qualifications

- B.Tech, Dual Degree, M.Tech, or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a

reputed institution.
- 3+ years of professional experience spanning both application development and

infrastructure/deployment work not ops-only experience.

Required Skills

- Demonstrated ability to write and debug production code in Python; comfort with Java or

JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Solid data structures, algorithms,



and problem-solving fundamentals.
- Working experience with React.js — building and debugging real applications, integrating with

backend APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or equivalent) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub

Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
- Working knowledge of at least two of: AWS, Azure, GCP, or low-cost providers such as E2E Networks.
- Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals (DNS, reverse proxies, SSL, firewalls, load

balancing).
- Exposure to cloud GPU provisioning, managed LLM platforms (Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry), and RAG

pipeline deployment (vector stores, embeddings, retrieval APIs).
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis or similar caching layers, and monitoring/observability

tools (Prometheus/Grafana, CloudWatch, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management; able to work independently and mentor junior engineers.
