We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to support the design, development and maintenance of scalable web applications within a fast-paced, microservices-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and deploy responsive frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.

- Build scalable backend APIs and services using Node.js, NestJS and Express.

- Translate business and product requirements into clear technical specifications.

- Contribute to solution architecture, technical design and engineering decisions.

- Develop and maintain microservices-based applications.

- Manage frontend and backend codebases within an Nx Monorepo environment.

- Design and optimise relational database schemas and queries using MySQL, PostgreSQL and TypeORM.

- Build modern user interfaces using Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap and SCSS.

- Ensure applications meet accessibility, responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility standards.

- Containerise and run services using Docker and Docker Compose.

- Work alongside DevOps teams to support Kubernetes deployments and monitor production services.

- Write clean, maintainable and testable code with appropriate unit-test coverage.

- Conduct peer code reviews and promote software-engineering best practices.

- Diagnose technical issues and improve application performance, scalability and reliability.

- Mentor junior developers and support the wider development team.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.

- Collaborate with product managers,



designers, QA engineers, DevOps teams and other technical stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Experience

- At least four years of professional full stack development experience.

- Robust commercial experience with Angular and TypeScript.

- Backend development experience using Node.js, NestJS and Express.

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, middleware and backend architecture.

- Experience designing and maintaining microservices-based systems.

- Commercial experience working with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.

- Experience using TypeORM for schema design, migrations and query handling.

- Experience managing modular codebases using Nx Monorepo.

- Strong knowledge of software-design patterns and scalable application architecture.

- Experience with automated testing, coding standards and code-review processes.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose.

- Understanding of Kubernetes-based deployment environments.

- Experience working within Agile software-development teams.

- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.

Desirable Experience

- Experience using Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap and SCSS.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring.

- Experience working across regional or internationally distributed teams.

- Previous responsibility for mentoring or coaching junior developers.

- Additional APAC language skills would be beneficial.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.
