About MaephorSchool

MaephorSchool is The School OS — one system that runs the whole school: admissions, attendance, fees, examinations, timetable, transport, hostel and HR, with a parent app in English and Kannada. We're a DPIIT-recognised startup, and our first partner schools in Karnataka are going live right now. Small team, real users, zero legacy.

The role — one engineer, the whole loop

We don't split Dev and QA. You own a feature end to end: understand the requirement (often straight from a principal or a school clerk), build it, write and automate the tests for it, ship it, and stand behind it in production.

We are AI-first by conviction, not fashion. Everyone here builds with AI coding agents at full strength — that's how a tiny team ships an entire school ERP. We expect, and will teach, workflows that honestly run ~5× a traditional pace: AI handles the boilerplate; you bring judgment, requirement sense and taste.

What you'll work on

- Web: Next.js / React / TypeScript admin dashboard
- Mobile: React Native app for parents, students & drivers
- Backends: GraphQL APIs across Elixir, Go, Java (Spring Boot) and Python (FastAPI) microservices — you pick up whichever language the feature needs (with AI, this is genuinely normal here)
- Data & infra:



PostgreSQL (multi-tenant), Azure Kubernetes
- Quality: test cases and automation for everything you build — on our own in-house QA test-management platform

Who you are

- A fresher with strong fundamentals and things you've actually shipped, OR 2–5 years of experience
- Already building with AI daily (Claude, Cursor, Copilot — be ready to show us how)
- You read a requirement and ask the right second question before writing code
- You treat testing as part of building, not a phase that happens to other people
