JOB DESCRIPTIONFront Office Executive
Department: Front Office
Location: The Rajbari Bawali, Bawali, West Bengal
Reporting To: Operations Manager
About the Role The Front Office Executive is the face of The Rajbari Bawali, responsible for creating a warm, gracious and personalised arrival and departure experience for every guest. The role requires a strong understanding of luxury hospitality, attention to detail and the ability to make every guest feel welcomed and cared for while experiencing the charm and grandeur of our heritage property.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with warmth, grace and professional etiquette, reflecting the hospitality and heritage character of The Rajbari Bawali.
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Manage guest reservations, room allocations, modifications, extensions and special requests.
- Maintain accurate guest profiles, registration records and front-office documentation.
- Provide personalised assistance to guests throughout their stay and anticipate their requirements wherever possible.
- Handle guest queries, requests and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, F&B;, Reservations, Maintenance and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain complete knowledge of room categories, property facilities, dining options, experiences and activities to confidently guide guests.
- Assist guests with information regarding the property's heritage, architecture and unique experiences.
- Coordinate VIP arrivals, special occasions, room amenities, celebrations and guest preferences.
- Handle billing, payments, cash/credit transactions and guest folios accurately.
- Maintain proper handover during shift changes and communicate all important guest requirements to the incoming team.
- Monitor arrivals, departures,
room status and occupancy in coordination with the relevant departments.
- Promote the property's experiences, dining offerings and other services where appropriate.
- Maintain the highest standards of grooming, communication, courtesy and professional conduct.
- Ensure guest confidentiality and adherence to hotel policies and operational standards.
- Assist in emergency situations and follow all safety and security procedures.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Front Office/Guest Services, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort or boutique heritage property.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valuable command of English and Hindi; Bengali would be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of PMS and basic computer applications.
- Pleasant personality with excellent grooming and interpersonal skills.
- Strong guest-handling, problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
