Role & responsibilities
Creative Frontend Developer
Build the frontend that makes people take Graviti seriously before they've placed a single trade. This is the visual, expressive side of frontend - landing pages, product marketing, launch campaigns, motion and interaction work. You care as much about how a page feels as how fast it loads, and you can build the thing you imagined without waiting for someone to hand you a spec.
What You'll Do
- Build the public website, launch pages, and campaign microsites - visually distinctive, not template-shaped
- Design and implement motion: scroll-driven sequences, page transitions, hover and state micro-interactions, loading and reveal choreography
- Bring visual concepts to life in code - 3D, canvas, shader, or generative work where it earns its place
- Work closely with the Product Designer to extend the visual language, and take a concept from rough direction to shipped page yourself
- Own frontend performance alongside the visual ambition - heavy animation that still hits Core Web Vitals on a mid-range Android phone
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device consistency, with genuine attention to older mobile browsers common in the Indian market
- Implement SEO fundamentals: semantic markup, structured data, metadata, page speed
- Integrate analytics, consent management, and A/B testing tooling
- Build CMS-driven authoring workflows so copy changes don't require a developer
- Respect accessibility while animating - reduced-motion support, keyboard paths,
and focus states are part of the work, not a cleanup pass
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years building production websites, with a portfolio of visually ambitious work (live links required - this is the primary screen)
- Expert HTML5, modern CSS (Grid, Flexbox, custom properties, transforms), and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Robust React and Next.js experience
- Real depth in web animation - GSAP, Framer Motion, and/or hand-rolled CSS and requestAnimationFrame work; you understand easing, timing, and when not to animate
- A genuine eye for design. You notice bad kerning and a 2px misalignment, and you fix them without being asked
- Comfortable working directly from Figma, and equally comfortable when the Figma stops and you have to make the call yourself
- Solid grasp of rendering performance - compositor-friendly animation, avoiding layout thrash, asset and bundle discipline
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows and modern build tooling
Preferred candidate profile
Nice to Have
- WebGL / Three.js / react-three-fiber, or shader work (GLSL)
- Canvas, SVG animation, Lottie, or Rive
- Design skills of your own - you can originate a visual direction, not only execute one
- Headless CMS experience (Sanity, Contentful, Strapi, or similar)
- Edge hosting and static deployment (Vercel, Cloudflare Pages)
- Prior work on fintech or crypto sites, including familiarity with risk-warning and disclosure requirements
- i18n / multi-language sites
