About the Role

We are looking for a creative and results-driven Freelance YouTube Manager to manage and grow our YouTube channel. The ideal candidate should understand YouTube algorithms, content strategy, SEO, audience growth, and analytics.

You will be responsible for managing the channel end-to-end, from content planning and optimization to publishing, analytics, and growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute a YouTube growth strategy aligned with the channel's niche and audience.
- Research trending topics, keywords, competitors, and content opportunities.
- Create and manage a monthly YouTube content calendar.
- Optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, hashtags, and metadata for YouTube SEO.
- Conduct keyword research using tools such as VidIQ, TubeBuddy, Google Trends, etc.
- Coordinate with the content creator/editor for video production and publishing.
- Create strong video titles, hooks, descriptions, and CTAs to improve CTR and engagement.
- Plan and optimize YouTube Shorts along with long-form content.
- Manage video uploads, playlists, end screens, cards, thumbnails, and other YouTube elements.
- Monitor YouTube Analytics, including CTR, watch time, retention, impressions, views, subscribers, and engagement.
- Identify underperforming videos and recommend strategies to improve their performance.




- Track competitors and identify emerging trends and viral content opportunities.
- Suggest improvements to thumbnails and overall channel branding.
- Provide regular performance reports with actionable growth insights.
- Stay updated with changes in the YouTube algorithm, SEO practices, and creator trends.

Requirements
- 2-6 years of experience managing or growing YouTube channels.
- Strong understanding of YouTube SEO and Analytics.
- Experience with both Shorts and long-form videos.
- Good understanding of thumbnails, titles, hooks, CTR, and audience retention.
- Experience with YouTube Studio and analytics tools.
- Strong content research and trend-spotting skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as a freelancer and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience managing a personal brand, founder-led channel, education, career, business, lifestyle, or similar channel will be an advantage.
