Role Description The Foreign Exchange Branch Manager Location #Jalandhar is a full-time, on-site role based in Jalandhar, responsible for overseeing all branch operations related to foreign exchange and remittance services. The role involves managing day-to-day forex transactions, ensuring compliance with Reserve Bank of India regulations, supervising staff, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.

The Branch

Manager will develop and implement strategies to grow branch business,



build and maintain relationships with retail and corporate clients, and ensure high standards of customer service. Daily tasks include monitoring currency stocks, managing cash flows, authorizing high-value transactions, handling customer queries and escalations, and coordinating with central operations for reporting and audits. The individual will also track market developments in foreign currency and collaborate with internal teams to support sales, marketing initiatives, and overall branch performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Foreign Exchange Management and handling Foreign Currency within an FFMC or authorized dealer environment.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of currency products and retail forex operations.
- Candidates should possess a clear understanding of Currency markets, exchange rates, and risk considerations in day-to-day branch activities.
- Relevant experience in branch management or supervisory roles in banking, forex, or financial services.
- Knowledge of RBI regulations, KYC/AML requirements, and compliance procedures in foreign exchange and remittance services.
- Robust customer service, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate branch teams.
- Proficiency in basic office software and branch reporting tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
