Role Description This is a full-time, in office Food Safety Consultant (Fresher) role based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

The Food Safety

Consultant will support senior consultants in assessing food safety practices within client organizations, assisting in the implementation of food safety management systems, and helping prepare documentation in line with relevant standards and ISO requirements. The role includes conducting basic research on food safety regulations and guidelines, participating in internal audits and gap assessments under supervision,



and preparing reports and checklists for quality and safety compliance. The consultant will also assist in training sessions, client meetings, and follow-up activities to ensure corrective actions are implemented and maintained.

The position offers hands-on exposure to food industry practices, ISO consulting methodologies, and continuous learning in food safety and quality assurance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Food Science and an understanding of food industry processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Food Safety and Quality Assurance, with an interest in regulatory standards and compliance.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Quality Auditing or basic audit principles, including documentation review and report preparation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Nutrition, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong analytical, observation, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to learn quickly, follow structured methodologies, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of regional languages is an advantage.
- Interest in ISO standards, quality tools, and continuous improvement methodologies such as LEAN or Six Sigma is beneficial.
