Job Summary:

The F&B; Assistant is responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the Food & Beverage department by delivering high standards of guest service, assisting with food and beverage service, maintaining outlet standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The role requires good product knowledge, communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Welcome and greet guests warmly, professionally, and according to the property's service standards.
- Assist in setting up and preparing the restaurant, bar, banquet, or other F&B; outlets before service.
- Present menus, explain food and beverage items, and assist guests with recommendations when required.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while following established service standards.
- Maintain a high level of guest interaction and ensure guest needs are addressed promptly.
- Check guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond appropriately to requests.
- Assist with clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of tables, service stations, equipment, and work areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Develop a good understanding of the menu, ingredients, allergens, preparation methods, and beverage offerings.
- Handle special dietary requirements and communicate guest allergies or preferences accurately to the relevant departments.
- Assist with suggestive selling and upselling of food, beverages, specials, and premium products.
- Process guest bills and payments accurately when required.
- Assist in maintaining adequate stock levels of cutlery, crockery, glassware, condiments, and service equipment.




- Report damaged equipment, low stock, maintenance issues, or operational concerns to the supervisor.
- Assist senior team members and supervisors during busy service periods.
- Follow opening, operating, and closing procedures of the assigned outlet.
- Maintain professional grooming, personal hygiene, and appearance according to company standards.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate unresolved issues to the supervisor or manager.
- Work closely with the kitchen, bar, host/hostess, and other departments to ensure smooth service.
- Participate in briefings, training sessions, and departmental meetings.
- Support special events, private dining, banquets, and other F&B; functions when required.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of F&B; equipment and service items.
- Follow company policies, SOPs, and operational standards at all times.
- Contribute to creating a positive, welcoming, and memorable guest experience.

Required Skills & Competencies
- 1–2 years of experience in Food & Beverage service, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, or fine-dining workplace.
- Good knowledge of restaurant service procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage products.
- Good customer-service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented approach with a positive attitude.
- Good attention to detail.
- Basic billing/POS knowledge is an advantage.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
