Role Description The Fleet Manager role is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru.

The Fleet

Manager oversees daily fleet operations, including vehicle deployment, routing, scheduling, and maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective transport services. This role coordinates with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to manage utilization, monitor performance, and resolve operational issues.

Manager ensures compliance with relevant transport regulations, maintains accurate documentation, and supports continuous improvement initiatives in fleet processes and systems. The position also involves analyzing operational data, optimizing routes and capacity,



and contributing to strategic decisions that enhance service levels and reduce costs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Fleet Operations and Fleet Management skills to oversee vehicle utilization, routing, maintenance, and driver coordination.
- Candidates should possess solid Operations Management skills to manage day-to-day logistics activities, service levels, and process improvements.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of DOT Regulations and other applicable transport and safety standards to ensure full compliance.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret fleet data, track KPIs, optimize routes, and support cost and performance improvements.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in fleet or transport management will be considered.
- Experience in large-scale logistics, transportation, or 3PL environments, ideally with exposure to multi-modal and last-mile operations.
- Proficiency with fleet management software, GPS tracking systems, and MS Excel or similar tools for reporting and analysis.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to work in fast-paced, high-volume operations.
