Role Description This is a full-time, in office Fleet Manager role based in the Pune Division.

The Fleet

Manager will oversee day-to-day fleet operations, including planning vehicle usage, monitoring asset availability, and ensuring timely dispatch and delivery performance.

Responsibilities include supervising drivers and fleet staff, tracking vehicle maintenance schedules, enforcing safety and regulatory compliance, and optimizing route efficiency and operating costs. The role also involves analyzing fleet performance data, resolving operational issues, coordinating with warehouse and delivery teams, and implementing process improvements to support Blinkit’s service standards.

Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain high fleet reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Fleet Operations and Fleet Management, with experience managing vehicles and driver resources at scale.
- Candidates should possess Operations Management skills, including process optimization, resource planning, and coordination across delivery and warehouse teams.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of DOT Regulations and other relevant transportation and safety compliance requirements.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret performance metrics, identify trends, and implement data-driven improvements.
- Relevant experience in last-mile delivery, logistics, or transportation management, preferably in high-volume or e-commerce environments.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide and motivate on-ground teams.
- Proficiency in using fleet management systems, GPS tracking tools, and basic spreadsheet or reporting software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
