We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fleet Maintenance Executive to oversee all aspects of fleet maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of truck components, be adept at negotiating with vendors, and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Truck Body Maintenance: Oversee the construction and maintenance of truck bodies, including both open and closed containers. Ensure adherence to quality standards and timely completion of projects.

Tyre and Battery Management: Manage tyre and battery inventory, including procurement, maintenance, and replacement. Monitor tyre performance and implement strategies to maximize lifespan and efficiency.

Parts Procurement and Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and delivery timelines with vendors for truck parts and components. Ensure the procurement of genuine parts and maintain a comprehensive inventory.

Problem Diagnosis and Analysis: Address driver-reported issues and conduct thorough diagnostics to identify and analyze truck problems. Develop effective solutions to resolve mechanical issues and optimize truck performance





Expense Documentation and Verification: Maintain accurate documentation of all repair and maintenance expenses using software or digital sheets. Verify bills and invoices to ensure transparency and cost-effectiveness.

Inspections and Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of trucks to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Implement preventive maintenance measures to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.

Remote Truck Monitoring: Utilize remote monitoring systems to oversee truck performance and address issues promptly. Provide remote assistance to drivers and branches as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance team to delegate tasks, coordinate schedules, and optimize workflow efficiency. Foster a collaborative work environment focused on achieving organizational goals.

Additional Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in truck maintenance procedures and diagnostics. Robust negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms with vendors. Knowledge of software or digital tools for documentation and inventory management. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance.
