About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Fleet Head to lead and manage our EV fleet operations across Bangalore, Pune, and Chennai. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in EV operations, OEMs, logistics, fleet management, or automotive after-sales/service operations.

The role will be responsible for ensuring fleet availability, service efficiency, vehicle uptime, team performance, OEM coordination, and operational excellence across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end fleet operations across Bangalore, Pune, and Chennai.
- Manage and mentor Service Engineers, Technicians, and Fleet Operations teams across multiple locations.
- Drive vehicle uptime, fleet readiness, deployment, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate closely with EV OEMs, service partners, spare-parts vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor vehicle breakdowns, repairs, preventive maintenance, and turnaround time (TAT).
- Establish and track service SLAs, repair TATs, vehicle uptime, and fleet performance KPIs.
- Identify recurring technical issues and work with OEMs/service teams to implement permanent solutions.
- Ensure timely availability of spare parts and effective inventory management.
- Conduct regular reviews with location-level teams and ensure timely closure of operational issues.
- Analyse fleet performance data and prepare regular reports for management.
- Control maintenance costs while maintaining high standards of vehicle reliability and safety.




- Develop and implement SOPs for fleet servicing, breakdown management, preventive maintenance, and vehicle deployment.
- Ensure compliance with company processes, safety standards, and operational policies.
- Travel between locations as required to monitor and strengthen fleet operations.

Candidate Profile

- 4–5 years of relevant work experience in fleet operations, logistics, automotive, EV, OEM, or after-sales/service operations.
- Solid hands-on experience in Electric Vehicles (EVs) is mandatory.
- Experience managing service engineers, technicians, or multi-location operations teams.
- Candidates from EV OEMs, automotive OEMs, logistics companies, fleet operators, or mobility companies will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of vehicle servicing, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, breakdown management, and spare-parts operations.
- Proven ability to manage teams across multiple cities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Willingness to travel between Bangalore, Pune, and Chennai.
