Role Description This is a part-time Financial Advisor in SBI Life role based in Chennai with a hybrid work arrangement, combining in-office responsibilities with some work-from-home flexibility.

The Financial

Advisor will engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their financial goals and recommend suitable life insurance, retirement, savings, and protection products. Daily activities include conducting needs-based financial assessments, explaining policy features and advantages, preparing customized financial plans,



and assisting clients with documentation and policy servicing. The role involves maintaining strong client relationships, following up on leads, coordinating with branch and corporate teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.

The Financial

Advisor will also stay informed about product updates, market trends, and digital tools provided by SBI Life to deliver high-quality advisory services.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory to assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Sound understanding of Finance and Investments, including risk profiles and long-term wealth-building strategies.
- Experience in Retirement Planning, with the ability to design plans that support long-term income and protection needs.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and meet sales and service targets.
- Familiarity with life insurance products, regulatory norms, and basic financial regulations in India (training support may be provided).
- Proficiency in using digital tools, CRM systems, and online platforms for client engagement and policy servicing.
- Minimum educational qualification of a bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field; relevant certifications in financial planning or insurance advisory are an advantage.
