Role Purpose The Finance Director– Transition & Service Delivery will support the execution of Finance transitions, shared services delivery and operational governance for a global integrated Finance shared services organisation.

The role will translate the transition strategy into practical execution plans, coordinate Finance transitions and enablement initiatives, monitor service performance, and act as the operational link between Finance leadership, shared services teams, business stakeholders and BPO providers .

The role covers end-to-end Finance processes including R2R, P2P, O2C, Tax, Treasury support, FP&A; support, statutory reporting and Finance master data .

Scope

- Global Finance shared services across multiple regions and delivery centres
- Hybrid captive + outsourced operating model
- Large BPO/service provider ecosystem
- End-to-end Finance operations including R2R, P2P, O2C, reporting, controls and master data

Key Responsibilities 1. Finance Transition & Service Integration

- Coordinate end-to-end Finance transition plans, milestones, readiness, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Support onboarding of Finance processes, controls and reporting into the shared services model.
- Coordinate across Finance, business units, shared services and BPO teams to ensure successful transitions.

2. Finance Enablement & Transformation

- Support Finance transformation and enablement initiatives focused on process maturity, controls, reporting and efficiency.
- Track project actions, timelines, dependencies, risks and perks.
- Coordinate automation, workflow, ERP, reporting and process improvement initiatives.

3. Finance Service Delivery

- Support consistent and reliable Finance service delivery across regions, functions and providers.
- Monitor SLAs, KPIs, close performance, invoice/payment metrics, billing, collections, reconciliations and issue resolution .
- Drive standardisation, simplification and continuous improvement across R2R,



P2P and O2C.
- Track operational issues, control gaps and exceptions through to closure.

4. BPO & Provider Management

- Coordinate with Finance BPO providers on service performance, issues, escalations and corrective actions.
- Prepare inputs for provider governance and service review forums.
- Monitor provider performance against SLAs, productivity, controls and improvement commitments.
- Ensure agreed actions and operational changes are implemented.

5. Reporting, Performance & Benefits

- Maintain transition, service delivery and enablement dashboards and reporting.
- Track metrics covering close timeliness, reconciliations, invoice cycle time, payments, collections, data quality, controls and issue resolution .
- Identify improvement opportunities using performance data and exception trends.
- Support Finance shared services maturity assessments and improvement plans.

6. Stakeholder & Operational Governance

- Coordinate with Finance leaders, regional teams, process owners, shared services and BPO stakeholders.
- Act as an escalation point for unresolved transition, service and operational issues.
- Maintain governance documentation, readiness checklists, action logs, issue registers and knowledge-management artefacts.
- Support risk management, controls, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

7. Team & Change Enablement

- Support teams across Finance, shared services and provider organisations to deliver transition and operational objectives.
- Facilitate stakeholder readiness, communication,



training and adoption of new processes and ways of working.
- Promote service ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.

Success Measures

- Finance transitions delivered against agreed timelines, controls and readiness criteria.
- Consistent Finance service delivery and KPI governance across R2R, P2P and O2C .
- Timely closure of operational issues, control gaps and provider actions.
- Effective tracking of transformation initiatives, dependencies and advantages.
- Improved efficiency, data quality, controls and service performance .
- Strong coordination between Finance, shared services, business stakeholders and BPO providers.

Experience & Skills

- Experience in Finance Shared Services / GBS / Finance Operations / Finance Transition / BPO environments.
- Hands-on experience coordinating Finance transitions, service integration, transformation or operational improvement.
- Experience managing or coordinating outsourced Finance service providers.
- Strong understanding of R2R, P2P, O2C, reconciliations, financial controls, reporting, master data and month-end close .
- Experience with SLA/KPI management, service reporting, issue management and process improvement .
- Exposure to Finance automation, ERP/process transformation and reporting enhancements .
- Robust stakeholder management and ability to work across globally distributed Finance teams.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business, Operations or related discipline .
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
