We're scaling our Finance team to support rapid growth in our food products business. If you thrive managing P&L; statements, analyzing variances, and translating financial data into actionable insights for leadership, this is your role. You'll own financial planning and analysis for key product lines, directly influencing strategic decisions across the organization.

Based in T Nagar, Chennai, we're building a finance function that's as thoughtful and rigorous as our product standards.

What Success Looks Like In your first 12 months, you'll become the go-to analyst for monthly P&L; reporting, variance analysis, and financial forecasting. You'll have built robust reporting dashboards, improved month-end close processes, and equipped leadership with explicit financial narratives that drive decisions. You'll be someone the team trusts to catch issues early and explain what the numbers mean.

What You'll Do

● Own monthly P&L; statement preparation, variance analysis, and reporting for assigned business units — identify root causes of budget variances and communicate findings to leadership

● Develop and maintain financial planning models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis — support annual budget planning and quarterly reforecasts with data-driven projections

● Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations — translate P&L; data into insights that inform pricing, production, and inventory decisions





● Reconcile accounting data with operational systems (Tally); identify discrepancies and work with accounting and operations teams to resolve them

● Lead ad-hoc financial analysis on profitability by product line, channel, or customer segment to support business strategy and pricing decisions

What We're Looking For

Required

● 4-6 years of hands-on experience in financial planning, analysis, or accounting roles — with strong exposure to P&L; management and variance analysis

● Advanced proficiency in Excel — pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, charting, and financial modeling; this is your day-to-day tool

● Experience with Tally accounting software — comfortable with GL reconciliation, cost allocation, and month-end processes

● Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

● Strong communication skills — able to explain complex financial data to non-finance leaders in clear, visual terms

Preferred

● Experience in food, beverage, or FMCG industries — familiarity with margin dynamics, product mix analysis, or supply chain economics

● Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite) or financial planning software (Anaplan) — ability to learn new systems quickly

● Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools for building dashboards and automated reporting

● CMA, CA, or CFA certification in progress or completed

Location & Work Arrangement

T Nagar, Chennai — On-site. We value in-person collaboration, especially in finance where real-time conversations with the team matter.
