Requirements
- 8-12 years of progressive experience in Finance Accounts, including financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, treasury, budgeting, and payroll.
- Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) is required; CA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) is preferred.
- Strong expertise in end-to-end accounting operations and maintaining accurate books of accounts.
- Experience managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
- Experience preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger (GL), journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules.
- Experience preparing MIS reports, dashboards, and management reports to support business decision-making.
- Experience managing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, and Cash Flow.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting principles, and company compliance policies.
- Expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience reviewing GST returns, TDS returns, tax reconciliations, and statutory reports before filing.
- Experience coordinating with external tax consultants for income tax filings and statutory compliance.
- Ability to ensure timely completion of statutory filings, compliance deadlines, audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience handling tax notices, assessments, audits, and correspondence with statutory authorities.
- Experience coordinating statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits.
- Experience collaborating with Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Experience maintaining statutory records, audit documentation, and compliance records.
- Exposure to coordinating U.S. taxation with external CPAs, tax consultants, and payroll providers is preferred.
- Experience supporting federal, state, and local U.S. tax compliance, including financial reconciliations and supporting documentation.
- Experience coordinating responses to U.S. tax notices, audits, and compliance requests through external consultants.
- Experience managing end-to-end payroll processing for India and the United States.
- Experience reviewing payroll inputs, salary revisions, reimbursements, incentives, bonuses, and Full Final settlements.
- Experience coordinating with payroll service providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Solid understanding of India and U.S. payroll processes and payroll-related statutory compliance.
- Experience reconciling payroll reports with accounting records and supporting payroll audits.
- Experience managing banking relationships, treasury operations, cash flow, and working capital.
- Experience reviewing bank reconciliations, fund movements, loans, guarantees, and banking documentation.
- Experience ensuring timely vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
- Experience supporting annual budgeting, financial forecasting,
variance analysis, and strategic financial planning.
- Ability to provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring internal financial controls.
- Experience ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and support finance automation initiatives.
- Experience leading and mentoring Finance and Accounts teams, including work allocation, deliverable reviews, and performance management.
- Experience collaborating with HR, Operations, Procurement, Legal, and Senior Management on finance-related initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Tally Prime, Zoho Books, ERPNext, QuickBooks, or similar.
- Experience working with external auditors, CPAs, payroll providers, tax consultants, and banking institutions.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, accounting operations, taxation, India U.S. payroll coordination, U.S. tax coordination, treasury management, budgeting forecasting, internal controls, audit coordination, ERP systems, stakeholder management, and process improvement.
