We are seeking a motivated finance professional, who will hold a pivotal position in managing the Accounting and Finance function. The role will report to the CFO and manage a team.

Responsibilities encompass overseeing the entire accounting and finance spectrum, managing revenue & cost aspect of client/partner portfolios, delivering exceptional support across all departments, and emphasizing continuous improvement, strategic planning, and addressing diverse ad-hoc tasks related to financial operations. This role presents a challenging yet fulfilling prospect for an individual with a robust finance background and a meticulous attention to detail. Who You Are

- At least 6+ years of experience in technology roles.
- CA/CA-Inter, or a finance and accounting professional 6+ years of experience.
- Fintech/Insurtech start-up experience will be preferred
- Good communication & interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal/external teams.
- Good team player who has collaborative mindset and the ability to work seamlessly within cross-functional teams.
- Organize tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks
- Exhibit proactiveness and ownership of tasks assigned
- Takes initiative to identify and address potential issues before they escalate
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail without losing sight of big picture.
- Functional skills backed with analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle & analyze complex data and provide actional insights.




- Ability to deal with ambiguity and ever-changing needs.
- Proficiency in excel and accounting software like Tally Prime ERP

What Youll Do (Your Key Responsibilities & KPIs) Finance & Accounts:
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the company's books of accounts.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
- Maintain ledgers and execute book closure activities on a monthly and annual basis.
- Conduct periodical review of GLs, processes, vouchers to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Ensure that all statutory requirements related to Direct Tax and Indirect Tax, including GST,
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial statements for Investors reporting.
- Conduct financial analysis to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Bookkeeping and GL maintenance in Tally across all group entities.
- Accounts payable, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements.
- Responsible to ensure TDS, PF, and PT, are met. Additionally, handle all reconciliations associated with these taxes.
- GST filing, GSTR-1, 3B, and annual return, for all entities.
- TDS deposits and returns (26Q / 24Q), TRACES management
- PF / ESIC / PT - computation, deposit, and filing.

Controllership support
- Month-end close execution (books locked by T+7).
- Interco billings calculations & accounting entries and reconciliation.
- MIS first draft delivered by T+9 for review.




- Lead Audits ( Statutory, Tax, GST ) along with financials & schedules preparations.
- Secretarial compliance activities.

Process Management:
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
- Streamline business processes and define continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead and deliver transformation projects, including automation initiatives using industry tools and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

Compliances:
- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities as required to ensure regular compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting and financial regulations.

Audit and Due-Diligences:
- Take ownership of audits and successfully close both statutory and internal audits.
- Conduct due diligence processes as required by investors or potential investors.

Ad-hoc Tasks:
- Undertake various ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as required by senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address unique financial challenges and

opportunities.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
- Any other support as needed on a timely basis.

Team Management:
- Supervise and mentor a team of 2 to 3 accounting professionals.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance support, and mentorship as necessary.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
