Job Role

Responsible for day-to-day C&I; maintenance activities covering BTG ensuring reliable operation of instrumentation and control systems.

Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration and testing of field instruments.

BTG Instrumentation - 35%

Preventive, Predictive & Breakdown Maintenance

Shutdown, Overhaul & Reliability Improvement - 30%

Desired Qualification & Experience

- Diploma/ITI in

Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication

- 05 - 10 years of relevant experience in Thermal Power Plant
- Hands-on exposure in BTG systems
- Experience in Operation & Maintenance (O&M;) workplace

Industry Type Exposure

Thermal Power Plant 100 MW or above

Process Industries with equivalent field instrumentation and control systems exposure

Roles and Responsibility/ Duties to be performed.

- Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of C&I; equipment in BTG, AHP and CHP areas.




- Inspect, troubleshoot, calibrate and maintain field instruments, control valves, transmitters and analyzers.
- Support DCS/PLC troubleshooting, testing and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with OEMs, AMC vendors and technicians and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
- Maintain proper documentation, safety compliance, 5S and reliability improvement activities.
