Key Job Responsibilities

- Field Assessment &
- Survey

- Conduct field visits to residential areas, commercial establishments, institutions, and public places.

- Assess existing waste management and sanitation practices.

- Collect field-level data through surveys, observations, interviews, and checklists.

- Identify gaps related to waste segregation, collection, transportation, and sanitation.

- Waste Segregation &

- SWM Assessment

- Assess whether households and establishments are following source segregation practices.

- Monitor wet, dry, and domestic hazardous waste segregation.

- Identify areas where waste is being mixed, littered, or improperly disposed of.

- Assess community-level waste management practices and infrastructure.

- Community Interaction

- Interact with households, shopkeepers, RWAs, institutions, community leaders, and other stakeholders.

- Explain proper waste segregation, disposal, and sanitation practices.

- Conduct awareness activities and support behaviour-change initiatives.

- Address basic queries and concerns raised by citizens during field visits.

- Sanitation Inspection

- Conduct basic sanitation assessments of public and community areas.

- Identify issues related to cleanliness, littering, open dumping, stagnant water, and unhygienic conditions.

- Report sanitation-related observations to the concerned supervisor/team.

- Data Collection &

- Reporting

- Maintain accurate field survey records and daily activity reports.

- Capture photographs, GPS/location details, and other supporting evidence wherever required.

- Prepare daily/weekly field assessment reports.

- Ensure that all collected data is accurate, complete,



and submitted within timelines.

- Municipal &

- Project Coordination

- Coordinate with municipal officials, ward-level teams, sanitation workers, supervisors, and community representatives.

- Participate in ward-level meetings, field inspections, awareness drives, and project activities.

- Support implementation and monitoring of Solid Waste Management and Swachh Bharat Mission-related activities.

- Monitoring &

- Follow-up

- Revisit identified problem areas to verify corrective action.

- Track recurring issues such as waste dumping, non-segregation, and sanitation complaints.

- Escalate serious or repeated non-compliance to the reporting manager.

- Team Support

- Work closely with IEC, community mobilization, sanitation, and project teams.

- Support awareness campaigns, street plays, cleanliness drives, surveys, and other field activities.

- Guide field/community teams wherever required.

Desired Skills

- Good knowledge of Solid Waste Management and sanitation practices

- Strong communication and community-interaction skills

- Ability to conduct surveys and field assessments independently

- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Forms, WhatsApp and data-entry tools

- Valuable report-writing and documentation skills

- Ability to interact confidently with citizens and government officials

- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned wards/areas

- Ability to work outdoors and handle field-based responsibilities

- Gujarati and Hindi communication skills would be an advantage

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
