Roles and Responsibilities

- Position directly reports to Cluster-in-charge.
- Will work to ensure Fiber construction work being executed by the Vendor on Ground is as per Customer Construction Guidelines, should be apt with Mobile apps to capture Quality of execution as required by Customer.
- Should be conversant with Construction deviation process. Timely identification before actual execution - initiation of deviation request - approval from Customer & then closure on field as guided.
- Preservation of Site & Route Documents viz Construction records.
- Co-ordination. with Airtel projects / Operations wherever field support required.
- Material issue /return records from Customer to execution partner & Timely Material Re-co.




- Ensure enough precautions are taken on field by the execution Vendor to avoid any incident / accident to deployed resources & to Public or Material.
- End to End acceptance testing of the Span being executed.
- Prepare ROW applications on Airtel letter head & provide along-with the KMz file print to the ROW vendor for onward submission to the concerned authority.
- Track receipt of ROW permissions

Desired Candidate Profile

- 5-10 years of experience in telecom engineering or related field.
- Diploma/B.Tech / B.E. degree in Electrical.
- Diploma/B.Tech / B.E. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
- Solid understanding of fiber optic technology, including OFC/OTDR testing methods.
