Role Description The F&D; Officer (Formulation & Development Officer) is a full-time, on-site role based at our manufacturing facility in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. The role involves developing and optimizing pharmaceutical formulations across dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, syrups, ointments, injectables, and other products in line with regulatory and quality standards. The F&D; Officer will plan and execute lab and pilot-scale trials, prepare and maintain technical documentation, and support technology transfer to production.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with R&D;, QA, QC,



and manufacturing teams, monitoring product stability studies, troubleshooting formulation-related issues, and ensuring compliance with WHO-GMP and other regulatory guidelines. The role also requires participation in audits, continuous process improvement initiatives, and timely support for new product development and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences, including formulation development, pre-formulation studies, and dosage form design.

- Experience in working with solid, liquid, and semi-solid dosage forms, including tablets, capsules, syrups, ointments, and injectables.

- Knowledge of WHO-GMP, regulatory requirements, validation practices, and documentation standards for pharmaceutical manufacturing.

- Ability to conduct stability studies, analyze data, and interpret results for product performance and shelf-life determination.

- Proficiency in preparing technical documents such as product development reports, SOPs, batch manufacturing records, and technology transfer documents.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using laboratory equipment and basic analytical techniques relevant to formulation work.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams including R&D;, QA, QC, production, and regulatory affairs.

- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple development projects and timelines.
