Fashion Stylist & Social Media Content Creator For Menswear Brand
Location: Thane
Experience: 2–5 years
Employment: Full time
CTC: 40k-60k/month
Industry: Fashion / Menswear / D2C
About the Role
We are looking for a Fashion Stylist & Social Media Content Creator who understands menswear, fashion, visual storytelling and social media culture.
This is a hands-on creative role. You will not just plan content—you will be expected to style garments, create looks, shoot videos, develop content ideas, and execute them from concept to final output.
You should have a strong eye for styling, proportions, colours, layering and fashion trends, along with the ability to create Instagram Reels, product videos, unboxing videos, styling videos and other short-form content that feels native to today's social media.
The ideal candidate is someone who can look at a shirt, trouser or complete outfit and immediately think:
“How can we make this look desirable, interesting and shareable?”
Key Responsibilities
- Fashion Styling
- Style menswear products for photoshoots, Reels, social media and marketplace content.
- Create complete looks by combining shirts, trousers, outerwear, accessories and footwear.
- Develop different styling directions for the same garment to demonstrate versatility.
- Understand current menswear trends, silhouettes, colours, fits and styling techniques.
- Maintain consistency with the brand's visual identity while continuously bringing newness.
- Assist in planning product shoots, model shoots, flat lays, mannequin shoots and creative product presentations.
- Ensure garments are properly steamed, styled, fitted and presented before shooting.
2. Social Media Content Creation
- Develop and execute Instagram Reels, short-form videos, product videos and social-first content.
- Create content around:
- New product launches
- Product USPs
- Styling ideas
- “3 ways to wear” content
- Outfit inspiration
- Fashion trends
- Behind-the-scenes
- Product details
- Unboxing experiences
- Packaging
- Founder/brand stories
- Fashion education
- Turn simple products into visually engaging content concepts.
- Identify trending formats, sounds, hooks and content styles relevant to the target audience.
- Adapt trends intelligently to the brand instead of simply copying them.
3. Unboxing & Product Videos A key responsibility of this role will be creating high-quality, social-first unboxing and product experience videos. You will be expected to:
- Conceptualise creative unboxing videos for shirts, trousers and other products.
- Showcase packaging, tags, labels, garment details and overall customer experience.
- Create satisfying product-opening and product-reveal moments.
- Shoot hands-only, POV, model-led and aesthetic product videos.
- Experiment with different hooks, camera angles, transitions and storytelling formats.
- Make product videos feel premium while remaining authentic and relatable.
- Create multiple content variations from the same product/shoot.
4. Content Production
- Independently shoot basic content using a smartphone/camera and simple lighting setups.
- Set up basic DIY shooting environments when required.
- Handle product preparation and styling before shoots.
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers, models and freelancers when required.
- Direct models during shoots to achieve the desired look and movement.
- Capture behind-the-scenes content during photoshoots and product development.
- Ensure sufficient raw footage is captured for multiple pieces of content.
5. Content Editing
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram/Reels using tools such as CapCut, VN, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva or similar software.
- Add appropriate text, transitions, music, captions and visual effects.
- Understand pacing, hooks and retention in short-form content.
- Create different edits/versions of the same footage for testing.
- Maintain a clean, premium and consistent visual language.
6. Social Media Execution
- Maintain a content calendar for Instagram and other relevant social platforms.
- Coordinate with the marketing team on upcoming launches and campaigns.
- Assist in planning weekly content themes and content requirements.
- Monitor content performance including views, reach, engagement, saves, shares and watch time.
- Identify what formats and creative concepts are performing and continuously improve them.
- Stay updated with emerging fashion and social media trends.
