Brightsun Travel is seeking an experienced Fares Team Leader with deep expertise in net fares manager distribution, multi-GDS environments, and New Distribution Capability (NDC) optimization. You will lead our fares operations team, manage complex airline content distribution, and pioneer smart technical solutions to optimize our shopping traffic and minimize look-to-book ratios.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and scale a technical fares operations team.

Net Fares & Distribution Management: Oversee the configuration, loading, and distribution strategies using Net Fare Manager tools across global markets.

PTC and Fare Type Mastery: Manage specialized Passenger Type Codes (PTC) including Inclusive Tour/Inclusive (ITX), negotiated, and private fare structures.

Multi-GDS Expertise: Maintain advanced operational mastery across all three major Global Distribution Systems (Sabre, Amadeus, and Travelport).

NDC Strategy & Efficiency: Shape our NDC roadmap. Design, create, or implement smart caching and filtering tools within NDC channels to reduce query overhead and actively minimize look-to-book ratios.

Solid understanding of airline fare rules, ticketing requirements,



and travel industry procedures.

Responsibilities

Distribution of multiple points of sale.

Co-ordination with marketing teams to highlight special offers.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 10+ years in airline distribution, fare filing, or GDS operations,

Must have experience of handling a team of 3 or more people.

Must be able to co-ordinate with marketing to find offers and raise them for advertising.

Technical Proficiencies

Full fluency in all 3 major GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport).

Expert command of Net Fare Manager / Selling Fare Manager distribution logic (geographic and Pseudo City Code targeting).

Comprehensive understanding of PTC variations (including ITX, corporate, and promotional types).

NDC & Optimization: Proven track record of working with NDC APIs, including building or utilizing optimization tools to manage high-volume requests and control look-to-book performance metrics.

Analytical Skills: Exceptional data analysis capabilities to track pricing accuracy, channel performance, and distribution yield.
