Reporting To:- Director /Managing Director

Salary:- Up to 10-10LPA

FMCG background candidate preferred, Candidate should have proven experience in a Factory Manager Role

Candidate Location Preferred - West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand

Educational Qualification:-

B-Tech /M-Tech in Mechanical, Production, or related field.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Factory Manager for our Rice Industry unit. The candidate will be responsible for overall factory operations including production, manpower handling, maintenance, quality control, dispatch, safety, and achieving production targets efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:-

1. Manage complete rice mill/factory operations on a daily basis.
2. Ensure smooth production of rice processing, grading, sorting, polishing, and packaging.
3. Monitor production targets and maintain productivity as per company standards.
4. Supervise machine operations, preventive maintenance, and breakdown handling.
5. Maintain quality standards of raw materials and finished products.
6. Handle manpower planning, shift management, and worker discipline.
7. Ensure proper stock management of paddy, rice, packing materials,



and finished goods.
8. Coordinate with procurement, dispatch, and warehouse departments.
9. Maintain factory safety, hygiene, and compliance with company policies.
10. Reduce wastage and improve operational efficiency.
11. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
12. Ensure compliance with government regulations, labor laws, and food safety standards.
13. Monitor utility consumption such as electricity, boiler, and fuel usage.

Required Skills:-

1. Strong knowledge of rice mill operations and production processes.
2. Leadership and team management ability.
3. Positive knowledge of machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
4. Knowledge of quality control and food safety standards.
5. Ability to handle production planning and inventory control.
6. Good communication and problem-solving skills.
7. Computer knowledge in MS Excel and reporting systems preferred.
8. Experience in handling large production units preferred.

Additional Requirements:-

1. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
2. Strong decision-making and operational management capability.
3. Willingness to stay near factory location if required.
