We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Technical Manager with a core Electrical Engineering background and mandatory experience in the Integrated Facility Management (IFM) industry to manage end-to-end technical operations and maintenance across client sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe and uninterrupted operation of all critical MEP and building engineering services, with strong hands-on knowledge of HT/LT Electrical systems, transformers, HT/LT panels, DG sets, UPS, APFC panels, electrical distribution, motors, pumps, VFDs, earthing, batteries and other electrical systems, along with extensive operational knowledge of HVAC systems including Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Cooling Towers, VRV/VRF and associated pumps and controls. The incumbent will be responsible for planning and monitoring Preventive, Predictive and Breakdown Maintenance, ensuring 100% adherence to PPM schedules, minimizing equipment breakdowns and downtime,
monitoring critical equipment parameters and ensuring timely resolution of technical complaints and breakdowns.
The role will involve overall technical supervision of multiple sites, coordination with Site Engineers, Technicians, vendors and client representatives, ensuring that all technical services are delivered as per defined SLA, SOP, AMC and client requirements. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring the performance and condition of DG sets, Chillers, AHUs, HVAC systems, electrical panels, transformers, UPS, pumps, motors, BMS and other MEP systems, identifying recurring failures and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
The Technical
Manager will also be responsible for energy management and optimization, monitoring electricity consumption, DG fuel consumption, HVAC/chiller performance, equipment efficiency and identifying opportunities for energy and operational cost savings. The candidate must ensure proper maintenance of technical records including PPM schedules, breakdown reports, equipment history cards, logbooks, checklists, AMC records, service reports, asset registers and technical MIS. The role will also include vendor and AMC management, ensuring vendors complete maintenance activities within agreed timelines and quality standards, validating service reports and coordinating for critical spares, repairs and replacement of equipment.
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable electrical safety, fire & life safety, statutory and EHS requirements, coordinating inspections, audits, licenses, certifications and compliance documentation wherever applicable. The candidate should have strong knowledge of electrical safety practices, LOTO, emergency response, fire safety systems and secure working procedures, and should be capable of handling emergency breakdowns and critical technical situations independently. The candidate will also support client audits, technical audits and site inspections, prepare technical reports and MIS, identify operational gaps and ensure timely closure of observations. Electrical Engineering qualification is mandatory, preferably B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, with strong hands-on experience in Integrated Facility Management / Facility Management.
Candidates should have approximately 812+ years of relevant experience, preferably managing commercial buildings, corporate facilities, large campuses, malls, hospitals, hotels, industrial facilities or other large-scale IFM operations. Strong knowledge of Electrical, HVAC, DG, Chillers, AHUs, BMS, PPM, AMC, vendor management, energy management and technical compliance is essential. The candidate must be a strong team leader with excellent problem-solving ability, technical troubleshooting skills, client coordination skills, documentation capability and a high level of ownership and accountability. IFM/FACILITY MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY and candidates from purely electrical project, construction or manufacturing backgrounds without significant facility management experience will not be preferred.
