The Opportunity
Ready to take the leap and make a difference in our community? The Town of High Level is currently accepting applications from Red Seal Trades personnel (Plumber, Millwright, Electrician, HVAC) for a full-time role in our Operations Department as Facilities Maintenance Technician. This role will be involved in the maintenance, upkeep and upgrades of all Town facilities.
No one day will be the same as the next. Your functions will include performing inspections, preventative and predictive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems in Town buildings. Other facets of the work include contractor and project coordination, assisting with budgeting, administration of facility service contracts and everything else facility related.
In exchange for your skill and hard work, the Town offers: A competitive hourly rate of $37.92 - $46.64 per hour depending upon experience A 40-hour work week – dayshift and home every night
Comprehensive benefit package includes 100% premium paid vision, extended health, and dental.
Health
Spending account of $1,000 per year and Wellness Spending Account of $300 per year. Life and Critical Illness insurance and Long and Short-Term Disability coverage
Provincial Pension Plan with the Town contributing more than the Employee towards your financial future
Annual Travel Benefit Allowance
