- Projects Reporting To Production Head / Project Manager Job Summary Responsible for managing and coordinating duct fabrication activities including site fabrication work execution, welding inspection, sheet metal cutting and bending inspection, nesting preparation, AutoCAD drawing coordination, quality inspection, manpower supervision, and project execution to ensure timely completion with required quality standards.

- Key Responsibilities Fabrication &

- Production Coordination Supervise duct fabrication activities for GI, MS, SS, Aluminum, and insulated duct systems.

- Coordinate fabrication works between factory and project sites.

- Plan and monitor daily fabrication targets and project schedules.

- Ensure fabrication activities are carried out as per approved drawings and customer specifications.

- Coordinate with PPC, Stores, Purchase, and Site teams for smooth execution of fabrication work.

- Monitor productivity, fabrication progress, and material utilization.

- Ensure proper handling of duct components, fittings, flanges, and accessories.

- Sheet Metal Cutting &

- Bending Inspection Inspect sheet cutting operations using shearing, plasma, laser, or CNC cutting machines.

- Verify dimensions and tolerances of fabricated components as per drawings.

- Inspect bending operations for accuracy, angle conformity, and dimensional consistency.

- Ensure proper edge finishing and burr removal after cutting operations.

- Monitor material thickness, dimensions, and surface quality before fabrication.

- Minimize material wastage through proper planning and process control.

- Welding &





- Fabrication Inspection Supervise welding activities for duct supports, frames, brackets, and structural fabrication works.

- Conduct welding inspection for weld quality, alignment, and joint strength.

- Ensure welding operations comply with approved WPS and quality standards.

- Inspect fabricated assemblies for dimensional accuracy and structural integrity.

- Coordinate rectification and rework activities for rejected fabrication components.

- Monitor grinding, finishing, and fit-up quality of fabricated parts.

- Nesting &

- AutoCAD Coordination Prepare and verify nesting layouts for optimum sheet utilization and minimum scrap generation.

- Review fabrication drawings and prepare cutting plans using AutoCAD software.

- Coordinate with design and project teams for drawing revisions and fabrication clarifications.

- Ensure correct BOM, dimensions, and fabrication details before production release.

- Maintain fabrication drawings, nesting files, and revision records.

- Support CNC programming and profile cutting activities where required.

- Quality Inspection &

- Documentation Conduct in-process and final inspection of fabricated duct components.

- Ensure fabricated ducts comply with approved specifications, dimensions, and quality standards.

- Prepare quality inspection reports and fabrication checklists.





- Maintain traceability and inspection records for fabricated materials.

- Coordinate with QA/QC teams and client inspectors during inspections.

- Ensure proper implementation of ISO procedures and quality documentation.

- Site Fabrication &

- Project Coordination Coordinate site fabrication and installation support activities.

- Supervise fabrication teams, welders, fitters, and operators at site locations.

- Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and consumables at site.

- Monitor site safety practices and work permit compliance.

- Coordinate project progress with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

- Resolve fabrication and installation-related technical issues at site.

- Safety &

- Compliance Ensure protected operation of fabrication machines and welding equipment.

- Follow safety standards related to fabrication, welding, lifting, and material handling.

- Ensure proper PPE usage and housekeeping in fabrication areas.

- Support implementation of safety audits and corrective actions.
