Role Description The EXIM Consultant will work full time on-site in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, supporting clients with export-import (EXIM) operations and compliance.

Responsibilities include analyzing EXIM processes, documenting requirements, and configuring relevant enterprise application solutions to meet regulatory and business needs. The role involves coordinating with client stakeholders, preparing and reviewing EXIM documentation, and ensuring alignment with customs, foreign trade, and taxation regulations. The consultant will collaborate with internal technical teams for solution implementation,



conduct user training and support, and assist in continuous improvement of EXIM workflows and reporting.

Regular monitoring of system performance and industry updates will be required to maintain robust, compliant EXIM processes for client organizations.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of export-import regulations, customs procedures, foreign trade policies, and related compliance frameworks.
- Experience in EXIM documentation, including letters of credit, shipping documents, export incentives, and duty-related processes.
- Ability to analyze and map business processes, prepare functional specifications, and collaborate on enterprise application configurations.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems, especially EXIM, logistics, and finance modules, is highly beneficial.
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with client and internal teams on-site.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities for handling complex EXIM scenarios.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field; professional certifications in EXIM or international trade are an advantage.
- Willingness to stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends and to contribute to digital transformation initiatives in EXIM processes.
