Executive – Production (Pre-Assembly)

Reporting To

Manager – Production

Role Purpose To manage and supervise Pre-Assembly production activities in the Refrigerator Division, ensuring achievement of production targets, effective manpower utilization, quality standards, and smooth execution of the pre-assembly process. The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of CRF and refrigerator pre-assembly operations .

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the Pre-Assembly Section of the Refrigerator Division.
- Ensure production achievement as per daily and monthly production plans.
- Manage manpower planning, deployment, and shift/changeover activities as per PPC requirements.
- Ensure effective utilization of manpower and train new production operators.
- Monitor and control CRF/pre-assembly processes to meet production and quality requirements.
- Ensure adherence to defined CTP/CTQ parameters and process standards.
- Monitor and reduce rejection, rework, and scrap within defined targets.
- Improve First Time Right (FTR) and overall process efficiency.
- Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Material departments for smooth production operations.
- Ensure proper machine/equipment availability and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain all relevant ISO & IMS documentation and production records.




- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure discipline, productivity, quality, and adherence to standard operating procedures within the production team.

Key Skills

- Hands-on knowledge of Refrigerator Pre-Assembly and CRF processes is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of refrigerator manufacturing processes and production operations.
- Experience in manpower planning and production team handling.
- Knowledge of Process Control Plan, CTP/CTQ, FTR, rejection and scrap control .
- Knowledge of ISO/IMS documentation and process compliance.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate production operators.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional departments.
- Proficiency in computer-based production reporting and record keeping.
- Strong execution, decision-making, and leadership skills.

Education & Experience

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering .
- 6–7 years of relevant production experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the domestic refrigerator industry.
- Relevant experience specifically in Refrigerator Pre-Assembly / CRF is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Process Control Plan will be preferred.
