About the Role

We are looking for an Executive – Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability to support and drive sustainability initiatives across manufacturing units, supply chain, and business operations.

The role will focus on implementing EHS and sustainability programs, ensuring environmental compliance, monitoring ESG performance, managing sustainability data, and contributing to initiatives around climate change, energy efficiency, water stewardship, waste management, circular economy, and responsible sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

Sustainability Strategy & Implementation

- Support the deployment of sustainability programs across manufacturing units and supply chain operations.
- Track progress against sustainability goals, targets, and KPIs.
- Coordinate initiatives related to climate action, energy efficiency, renewable energy, water conservation, and waste reduction.
- Support circular economy and resource-efficiency projects.

ESG Data Management & Reporting

- Collect, validate, analyze, and maintain sustainability performance data from factories and relevant functions.
- Maintain databases covering energy, water, waste, emissions, and other ESG metrics.
- Support preparation of sustainability reports, management reviews, and corporate disclosures.
- Assist with reporting requirements related to BRSR, CDP, DJSI, GRI, and other ESG frameworks.

Environmental Compliance

- Track regulatory developments related to sustainability and environmental management.
- Monitor compliance with environmental regulations, consent conditions, and internal standards.




- Coordinate with manufacturing units on statutory submissions and compliance tracking.
- Support environmental audits, assessments, and inspections.

Carbon & Climate Management

- Support GHG inventory development and carbon footprint assessments.
- Track renewable energy utilization and energy conservation initiatives.
- Assist in identifying decarbonization opportunities across operations and the supply chain.

Water & Waste Management

- Monitor water consumption, water-efficiency projects, and water stewardship initiatives.
- Track waste generation, recycling, and resource recovery programs.
- Support zero-waste-to-landfill and plastic waste management initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting

- Coordinate with manufacturing units, Procurement, Operations, and Corporate Sustainability teams.
- Facilitate sustainability awareness programs, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate with external agencies, consultants, auditors, and certification bodies.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and reports highlighting sustainability performance, progress, and recommendations.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Sustainability
- Diploma in Engineering with relevant experience in EHS & Sustainability may also be considered.

Experience

- 2–6 years of experience in Sustainability, ESG, Environmental Management, EHS, Energy Management, or related areas.
- Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, or Consulting environments is preferred.
