Mumbai

Location: Mahape, Navi Mumbai

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Experience Level: 2 – 8 Years

Requirements: 2 (Senior & Mid-Level)

About CWD:

CWD Limited is an IoT-led product design and mass-manufacturing company. We build smart devices and infrastructure solutions end to end — from module and hardware design through SMT/PCBA production, box-build, testing and dispatch — across five sites (three in Mysore, two in Mumbai).

We are now consolidating the entire business onto ERPNext v16: procure-to-pay, warehouse and inventory, SMT manufacturing, quality, sales and logistics, finance, and HR/payroll. This is a ground-up digital transformation from largely manual operations to a single integrated system serving 100+ full users and 100+ shopfloor and warehouse users.

The Role:

We are building an in-house ERPNext capability. You will lead the entire implementation including customizations, integrations, upgrades and day-to-day enhancements. This is a build-and-own role, not a ticket-closing role: you will sit close to production, stores, quality and finance teams and turn their processes into working software.

What you will Build:

Representative work from our current roadmap:

*Manufacturing (SMT/EMS): reel and feeder balance tracking with automatic component deduction against work orders; material kitting logic; MSD/ESD floor-life and dry-cabinet RH tracking; rework cost bucketing by failure stage

*Warehouse (WMS): bin and zone management, directed put-away and advanced picking (FIFO/FEFO), barcode/QR and RFID scanning on handheld terminals, 3PL stock visibility

*Quality: IQC / IPQC / OQC / PDI hold and quarantine logic that systemically blocks material movement until clearance; non-conformance and CAPA workflows; calibration and gauge tracking

Procurement: multi-level approval workflows by value and department,

vendor self-service portal, supplier scorecards, PAN validation

Sales & planning: Available-to-Promise reporting (FG stock + WIP + RM lead time), inventory reservation against customer orders, MRP triggered from sales order balances

Product data: firmware image, software build and license-key mapping to finished-goods serial numbers; engineering change orders linked to design-system BOMs

Integrations: Tally, e-invoicing and e-way bill, biometric attendance across five sites, logistics/carrier portals, hardware design and PLM systems

Traceability: cradle-to-grave serial and batch traceability across the full material flow

Responsibilities:

Design and build custom apps, DocTypes, workflows, server and client scripts, and reports on the Frappe framework

Build and maintain REST/API integrations with third-party systems, including error handling, retries and reconciliation

Configure standard ERPNext modules (Accounting, Buying, Selling, Stock, Manufacturing, Assets, HR, Payroll, Helpdesk) and know when to configure rather than customize

*Manage roles, permissions and user-level data access across sites and departments

*Handle data migration: master data templates, opening balances, validation and cutover support

Own deployment hygiene — version control, staging and production environments, upgrade planning, patch management, backups

Work directly with process owners to gather requirements, run CRP/UAT sessions,

and document what was built

*Provide post-go-live support and train internal super-users

Must Have:

Hands-on ERPNext / Frappe framework development on live implementations (not just administration or configuration)

Strong Python and JavaScript; solid SQL on MariaDB/MySQL

*Practical experience with custom DocTypes, server scripts, client scripts, hooks, scheduled jobs, custom print formats and query reports

*REST API integration experience, including authentication and payload mapping

*Git, Linux command line, and bench for site, app and workplace management

*Ability to read a business process and translate it into a system design without hand-holding

*Manufacturing, EMS or discrete-industry ERP experience — SMT, PCBA, BOM management, work orders, serial/batch traceability

*Warehouse operations: barcode/RFID scanning, handheld terminals, bin and zone structures

*Indian statutory compliance in ERPNext: GST, e-invoicing, e-way bill, TDS

*Frappe HR / payroll, or Frappe Helpdesk

*Frontend work in Vue.js; experience building portal pages for external users (vendors, customers)

*Prior work migrating from Tally or legacy/manual systems

*Contributions to the ERPNext or Frappe open-source repositories

How to Apply:

Kindly send your updated CV to [email protected] with the subject line “ERPNext Developer — [Senior / Mid]” along with the below details.

*Share details of 2–3 ERPNext implementations you have worked on, including the industry, modules involved, and your specific contributions or developments.

*Provide links to any GitHub repositories, custom Frappe apps, or contributions to the Frappe Forum.

*Mention your total years of experience, current compensation, expected compensation, and notice period
