Job Summary

ERP Solution Expert: Cash to Tax plays a critical role in ensuring Haleon s Technology Platforms enable our enterprise processes to be designed, governed, and operated in a consistent, scalable, and future fit way. The Expert is the technology enabler of a key global business process and is responsible for its functional design, delivery, service operation and continuous improvement across all functions and markets.

This role sits at the centre of Haleon s transformation - ensuring our processes evolve from legacy, fragmented ways of working into integrated, standardized, and digitally enabled ways of working unlock capacity across the organization, align to strategy, maintain compliance, and operational excellence in support of the growth agenda.

Key Responsibilities

Operate Existing ERP Solutions

- Deliver ongoing BAU changes to the legacy SAP ECC based landscape.
- Deliver functional expertise to address ECC operational critical tax related issues.
- Accountable for Legacy SAP legacy systems lifecycle management - e.g. functional upgrades, legal / tax changes, change related IT controls etc.

Governance Decision-Making

- Resolve cross-functional process issues, conflicts, and dependencies.
- Minimize deviations to global standards and ensure adherence to governance frameworks.
- Define process KPIs, controls, and continuous improvement mechanisms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with Business Process Owners, Process Experts, Local Process Experts, and Functional Leaders to embed and sustain process changes and also to ensure ERP processes meet local statutory and regulatory requirements.




- Ensure effective integration across interconnected processes (e.g., L2C S2P R2D).
- Collaborate closely with Data, Compliance Cyber Security, Architecture, Testing, and Change teams.

Operations, Continuous Improvement Innovation

- Ensure business process availability to the business via closely working with Tech Support teams and leaning in with SAP functional expertise when needed
- Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for improvement, simplification, automation, and digitisation.
- Ensure the ERP applications continues to evolve to support Haleon s long-term strategy.

Qualifications Skills

Essential

SAP S/4 HANA and SAP ECC based functional design expertise in tax solution,
- Corporate income tax
- Withholding other taxes
- Indirect tax (VAT, GST, Sales Tax etc) including invoicing e-Reporting
- Transfer pricing
- Customs and Global Trade
- Tax compliance reporting
- Employment tax
- Tax control governance
- Tax localization
- ERP Tax Engine

Preferred

- Ability to align process with business objectives and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to translate tax legislation into technical ERP design.
- Understanding the tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate tax treatment.




- Proven SAP ERP delivery experience in the areas of SAP Finance and Tax.
- Knowledge of tax engine (Vertex, Avalara, Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE, Meridian etc.).
- Integration experience using APIs, middleware, or ERP integration platforms.
- Experience with global ERP indirect or direct tax implementation across multiple territories.
- Experience with e-Invoicing and digital tax compliance initiatives.
- Deep understanding of indirect taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax etc.) and tax determination.
- Enterprise-first mindset; makes decisions for the valuable of the whole organization.
- High levels of influence, credibility, and presence with senior stakeholders.
- Collaborative and able to align diverse groups behind a shared direction.
- Comfortable operating in dynamic, fast-paced environments with evolving requirements.
- Understanding how process design connects to data, systems, controls, and integration points.
- Able to work effectively with Business Process Owners and Senior Business Leaders to ensure alignment and feasibility.
