Role description

Main Purpose of the Job: a) Design and engineering of an integrated steel plant covering the following:

- Conceptualization

- Basic Engineering

- Detailed Engineering
- Design & Engineering – Monitoring & Control

b) Documentation and record maintenance of engineering deliverables & reference documents.

Key Accountabilities:

- Transparent understanding of Civil / Structural/Architectural engineering standards, practices, design criteria, calculations etc.
- Delivery of structural design and detail drawing as per project time frame & standard.

- Preparation of technical specifications
- Coordinate with technology suppliers, equipment vendors and other inter-departments for design & engineering

- Assistance in Value Engineering
- Participate in 3D model reviews of respective areas to check and comment 3D models.
- Conceptualization, Basic & detail engineering
- Coordinate with technology suppliers, equipment vendors and other departments (D&E;,



P&C;, BU, CP) for completion of deliverables ensuring first time right.
- Value engineering, implementation of best practices, fit for purpose design meeting the standard/ norms requirements.
- Capture and implementation of learnings.

Skills

Relevant Experience in Design & Engineering of industrial structure such as Junction House, Conveyor Gallery, Pipe rack, Building Shed, Process Building, Shed with Crane.

Technical Competencies:

1. In depth Knowledge in industrial structural design for Steel Plant, beneficiation plant.
2. Drawing preparation and review.
3. Proficiency in Staad Pro, Tekla, Autocad
4. Clear understanding in design and detail structural drawing.

Other details

Degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech)/Equivalent in any Civil Engineering
