Job Overview The EHS Officer will be responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace across all manufacturing units of HCP Wellness

This role ensures adherence to statutory regulations, promotes a safety-first culture, and implements proactive measures to safeguard employees, equipment, and the environment

Key Responsibilities

Environmental, Health Safety Compliance**

Ensure compliance with all applicable Factory Act, GPCB, Pollution Control, Fire Safety, and Occupational Health regulations

Maintain and update all mandatory EHS documentation, permissions, and statutory records

Workplace Safety Management**

Conduct daily safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions

Ensure proper use of PPE, machine guarding, operational controls, and chemical handling procedures

Chemical Hazard Management (Specific to Cosmetics/Oral Care)**

Maintain MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) for all raw materials

Ensure safe storage, labeling, and handling of chemicals, solvents, and active cosmetic ingredients





Monitor waste disposal as per GPCB norms

Training Awareness**

Conduct induction training for current employees on EHS

Execute periodic mock drills, fire drills, and emergency response training

Promote safety culture aligned with HCP Wellness values

Incident Risk Management**

Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions

Prepare RCA (Root Cause Analysis) reports and implement corrective preventive actions (CAPA)

Monitor risk assessment programs for production, packing, and warehouse activities

Fire Safety Emergency Preparedness**

Ensure the functioning of fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, and emergency exits
