Role Description The English Language Instructor role is a part-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The instructor will deliver interactive spoken and applied English classes, following BSL’s curriculum and teaching standards. Daily responsibilities include planning lessons, conducting classroom sessions, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback to support language development and confidence.

The role also involves maintaining an engaging learning environment, using a variety of teaching methods and resources, and coordinating with academic staff to ensure consistent quality of instruction.



Instructors may participate in occasional workshops or training sessions to enhance teaching practices and align with BSL’s educational objectives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in English Teaching, Language Teaching, and general Teaching to effectively deliver spoken and applied English courses.
- Candidates should possess skills in Education and curriculum understanding to plan lessons, assess learner needs, and align with institutional standards.
- Candidates should possess solid Writing skills to prepare teaching materials, assignments, and clear feedback for learners.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, with clear pronunciation and the ability to explain concepts in an accessible way.
- Relevant academic background in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certifications (e.g., TESOL, TEFL) are an advantage.
- Prior experience teaching English in classroom settings, preferably with adult learners or mixed-age groups.
- Strong classroom management, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a learner-centered and inclusive approach.
- Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, follow scheduled class timings, and collaborate with colleagues and management.
